Inner Thigh Lift
One technique used for a thigh lift places incisions in the groin, extending donward and wrapping around the back of the thigh. Another technique removes excess skin from the groin down to the knee using an incision along the inseam. Additionally, in some cases, a minimal incision inner thigh lift may be an option that involves an incision only in the groin area.
Outer Thigh Lift
Improving the contours of the outer thigh may require an incision extending from the groin around the hip and across the back.
Thigh Lift Surgery Duration
The surgical procedure takes place over an average period of 90-120 minutes. If necessary, this period may be extended. However, the surgical procedure time should not be confused with the amount of time the patient will be in the operating room. That amount of time will also include the administering of anesthesia and postoperative recovery.
