Platelet Rich Plasma Facial

Platelet Rich Plasma Facial Overview

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) helps damaged, aging skin to produce new collagen and elastin for a glowing, rejuvenated, more youthful-looking complexion. It works on a variety of skincare conditions: fine lines and wrinkles, dark spots, uneven complexion, scarring, large pore size, loss of elasticity, among others. Platelet-rich plasma injections stimulate the generation of new tissue in the skin as the platelets release growth factors into the dermis. Request more information!

Post-treatment Care

Avoid strenuous activity or exercise for 1 day following the Platelet Rich Plasma Facial treatment.

Anesthesia

Topical anesthesia is used during the Platelet Rich Plasma Facial procedure.

Procedure Time

The Platelet Rich Plasma Facial procedure takes place over an average period of 60 minutes. If necessary, this period may be extended. However, the procedure time should not be confused with the amount of time the patient will be in the doctor’s office or operating room in the event that the procedure is combined with a surgery. That amount of time will also include the administering of anesthesia. This is an outpatient procedure.
