Dr. Carlos Alberto López Collado graduated from the Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU), where he obtained the title of Doctor of Medicine in 1998. In that same year he became part of the faculty of the medical school and the Department of biology of said university. Since 1992, he has participated as a volunteer in the Dominican Red Cross, where he has performed several community service activities, highlighting the team of medical researchers from the HIV and AIDS Program. He holds a diploma in International Public Health at the Carlos III Institute of the National School of Health in Madrid, Spain. In Brazil, he trained as a General Surgeon at the Marcilio Dias Naval Hospital in the City of Rio de Janeiro and as Plastic Surgeon at the Fluminense Plastic Surgery Clinic in the City of Niterói. His mentor was Professor Dr. Ronaldo Pontes, who is a world icon for his contributions to plastic surgery, mainly for facial rejuvenation.

During his training, Dr. López was characterized by his high degree of dedication, humanism and above all responsibility, so he was invited to be part of the select medical staff of the Plastic Surgery Residency of the Clínica Fluminense, where he worked for approximately 5 years . He has published several scientific papers that have been presented in Congresses and Magazines specialized in plastic surgery in Brazil and the United States howell’s heating & air. He is a member of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery and the Dominican Society of Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery; He worked as a plastic surgeon at the Dr. Félix María Goico Hospital of the Dominican Institute of Social Security and his private practice is located in the prestigious Center for Plastic Surgery and Liposculpture (CECILIP), always maintaining as a motto the quality of his work, and the satisfaction of his patients.
